Whistleblower Policy
Do you suspect or have knowledge of misconduct or corruption in the ALOR GAJAH MUNICIPAL COUNCIL? If so, please let us know.
We promise :
You will be protected, and your identity will be kept confidential.
We will take immediate action to investigate your report.
You will be protected through the Whistleblowers Protection Act 2010 and the Witness Protection Act 2009.
Whistleblower Policy
We encourage our personnel, clients and the public to report any actions that may be unlawful, unethical or is deemed wrong.
This Whistleblower Policy is established to ensure that every informant is protected and should not be subject to retaliation, and to ensure that their concerns are appropriately investigated.
Whistleblowers are also protected from job termination or punishment by the Alor Gajah Municipal Council and will be subjected to consideration for a reduction in punishment if the informant himself is involved in the activities he reports. We will review our policy every two years to assess its efficiency.
