Urban Beautification

Functions
The Urban Beautification Department is responsible to plan and implement holistic beautification and greenery programmes in improving the quality of the environment and landscape designs that are supported by an efficient maintenance program. Landscape development is reinforced through the introduction of a Landscape Master Plan to design and execute landscaping and beautification projects.
Landscape Development Division
- Plan, implement and supervise landscape development.
- Management of landscape application.
- Management for recommendation in issuance of CCC.
- Management of deposit refund application.
- Department’s quality management.
- General administration of the department.
Landscape Maintenance Division
- Maintenance of MPAG’s landscape areas and recreational areas/parks.
- Maintenance of (risk) shade trees.
- Management of public complaints.
- Management of ornamental flower (plants) rental.
- Management of tree/plant inventory.
- Rigid landscape maintenance.
- Involvement in Gotong-Royong and other official programmes.
